Suggested by Member of Parliament David Hoe, the intention of the credits is to generate curiosity, and help users explore and identify their interests and strengths.

MCCY will work with the Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to pilot a Curiosity Credits scheme for youths in the SHGs.

Credits may be used to learn a skill in non-academic areas of interest, such as arts, sports, technology, or cooking.
