Under Forward SG, MCCY and NYC launched Youth Panels in 2023 to involve youths directly in policymaking.
120 youths shaped recommendations on financial resilience, careers, digital well-being, and recycling, engaging over 5,000 youths and stakeholders and more than 20 agencies and organisations.
NYC will begin the next run of the Youth Panels in the second half of 2026, centred on the theme of building a youth-friendly city where every youth feels proud to belong.
There will be four new panels centered on this theme:
With the Centre for Strategic Futures (CSF) and the Centre for Liveable Cities (CLC), NYC will launch a Youth Panel for you to imagine how to make Singapore a good city for youths to live, work, and play.
With the Land Transport Authority (LTA), NYC will launch a Youth Panel for you to co-create proposals and ideas that will help shape the future of our land transport.
With Sport Singapore (SportSG), NYC will launch a Sport Youth Panel for you to shape the future of sport for youths in Singapore.
With the Housing & Development Board (HDB), NYC will launch a Youth Advisory Panel to engage you on public housing, with co-creation opportunities to refine HDB’s communications and engagement efforts among youths and improve the user experience of HDB’s digital platform.
